Mrs. Rose is like an
aunt whose closet you hope to rummage through to find eclectic pieces and
various treasures that will give you a glimpse of what it was like during her
younger years. Fortunately, Second Hand Rose gave me that exact feeling. I was an hour early to her boutique, but she
smiled as soon as she saw me and asked me to come in. We sipped on water and talked for hours about fashion, family and the
box generation. She’s owned the boutique for years, and has recently been reconstructing her establishment to form a vintage museum on the top floor. I took plenty of pictures and purchased a cute skirt, among many other items, from her store.
I purchased this 1950's skirt and paired it with a gray sweater from rue 21( which was on sale over the summer for $1)!
